PRIDE PATCH PROGRAM

The object of this program is to encourage member involvement and participation.

You must be a current member of the Texarkana, Texas, USA HOG Chapter #5174.
This requires that you are also a member of the National HOG.

Each member will be issued a punch card.  The member will be responsible for this card and its maintenance.  Lost cards can only be replaced in “blank” form.

All activities/functions will be tracked via a punch on the member’s card.  Cards will be punched “on-sight” at each of the local HOG activities.  It will be up to the member to document out-of-town functions so that they can be confirmed/verified then punched.

Earning a patch will require a total of 20 punches.  These can be earned by attending meetings, volunteering, riding or attending a function.

Each member MUST have two punches for each – MEETING, FUNCTION, VOLUNTEER and RIDE.

The other 12 punches can be any combination of activities described below.

MEETING – general membership, officers meeting, road captain

FUNCTION – chapter party (Christmas, Valentine’s, etc.), state HOG rally, national HOG rally

VOLUNTEER – volunteer at any local Chapter function, write newsletter article, serve as an officer or road captain, etc.

RIDE – does this really need any explanation?  It must be chapter organized/sanctioned.

Any questions or disputes will be resolved by a committee of, no fewer than, 3 officers.

As soon as the punch card has been completed it must be turned in to the Activities Officer.  It is possible that you can earn this patch in as little as 3 or 4 months.

THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT END UNTIL THE LAST REGULAR MEMBERSHIP MEETING OF 2008.  ALL PUNCH CARDS SHOULD BE TURNED IN TO THE ACTIVITIES OFFICER BY THAT TIME.  GOOD LUCK AND LET’S ALL HAVE FUN!
